In my paintings, I explore the interplay of light and form through the medium of painting. The use of colour and tone serve as a conduit for emotional resonance, inviting viewers to engage with the familiar yet often overlooked aspects of their surroundings.

I am drawn to the reflective qualities of glass and metal, which not only capture light but also create a dialogue between the objects themselves. This fascination stems from a desire to highlight the subtleties of texture and transparency, encouraging a deeper appreciation for the mundane. Each piece embodies a moment of stillness, a pause in the chaos of daily life, where the viewer can find solace and contemplation.

Influenced by both classical still-life traditions and contemporary interpretations, my work seeks to bridge the gap between the past and present. I aim to evoke a sense of nostalgia while simultaneously challenging perceptions of beauty and simplicity.
